Service

To request service under this warranty, contact the authorized Brentwood Classics Retailer from whom you purchased your Brentwood Classics furniture. The Retailer will, in turn, contact us. Certain defects may be repaired in your home with our authorization. If the repair cannot be completed in your home, arrangements must be made with the Retailer to transport the furniture to our factory. Brentwood Classics Warranty does not include the cost, if any, of transportation to or from your home or the retail location. Certain information is required to process a request for service. We suggest that you keep your sales receipt and all pertinent documentation. If either you or the retailer has moved, you may contact our Customer Service Department directly service@brentwoodclassics.com Brentwood Classics practices the highest of standards (UFAC – Upholstered Furniture Action Council) in quality, service and warranty as follows:

Warranty Limitations

The Brentwood Classics Warranty is limited in that it is provided to you, the original purchaser and owner. The Brentwood Classics Warranty does not apply to furniture that has been abused or used in a business environment and/or for commercial purposes. The Brentwood Classics Warranty only applies to furniture used for normal residential purposes. Our warranty does not cover products sold in “distressed” or “as is” condition, products sold “second-hand” or products purchased from a retailer, or any other form of reseller not authorized by Brentwood Classics to sell our products. All of the Limited Warranties set forth below are subject to these Warranty Limitations. The original retail purchaser will cover all costs associated to labor, packing, shipping and transportation.

Lifetime Limited Warranty – Frames & Springs

Frames and springs are under warranty to be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product.
After one year this warranty covers replacement parts only.

5 Year Limited Warranty – Cushion Cores

Foam core seat and back cushions are under warranty for 1 full year and 4 years prorated, to be free from manufacturing defects causing the loss of foam resiliency for the life of the product. All seat cushions will soften with use and may produce some minor wrinkling. This is considered normal and should not be confused with loss of foam resiliency. Seat cushions should be flipped and rotated on a regular basis to maximize shape retention, longevity and warranty. Feather wrapped cushions are under warranty for 1 full year and 4 years prorated, against defects in materials and workmanship. Feather cushions will, by design, flatten, wrinkle and soften. We suggest you fluff these cushions as you would fluff the feather or down pillow you sleep on. Feather wrapped cushions are encased in a down-proof cover however feathers will poke through from time-to-time. This is considered normal performance and is not a defect.

1 Year Limited Warranty – Fabrics, Leathers, Mattresses & Mechanisms

Upholstery fabrics, including slipcovers, are under warranty for 1 year against seam slippage, fraying and dye transfer, but only if any cleaning conforms to industry standard methods. This warranty does not cover wearing, wrinkling, fading, pilling or fabric that has been treated with a dealer or consumer applied soil repellent. We recommend regular maintenance to prolong fabric life; this includes regular vacuuming and professional cleaning. Direct sunlight can cause some fabrics to fade; limit the amount of direct sunlight on any piece of furniture.
Upholstery leathers are under warranty for 1 year against seam slippage, but only if any cleaning conforms to industry standard methods. Leather is a natural product, which may display variations in colour and texture. Depending on the finish of the leather or where the cow originates from, these unique characteristics may vary, offering each hide its own distinct look. Healed scars, neck wrinkles & other natural markings, do not affect the performance of the finished product, but rather serve as conclusive proof that it is genuine leather. This warranty does not cover wearing, wrinkling, fading or leather that has been treated with a dealer or consumer applied soil repellent. We recommend regular maintenance to prolong leather life; this includes regular vacuuming and professional cleaning. All leathers are sensitive to direct sunlight; limit the amount of direct sunlight on any piece of furniture.
Sofa bed mechanisms and mattresses are under warranty to be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year. It is recommended that you do not fold sofa beds with sheets, blankets or pillows inside. This may cause the mechanism to bend which is not covered under any warranty. Mattresses should be rotated frequently to increase longevity. Swivel rocker mechanisms are under warranty to be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year. Full recline and leaning will cause the swivel rocker mechanism to bend and will result in malfunction. This is not covered under any warranty.

90 Days Limited Warranty

Workmanship is under warranty for 90 days. Within the provisions, time allowances and limitations of this warranty, we promise to repair or replace, at our option, any part or parts we deem to have manufacturing or material defects.
